Recipe preparation steps

Peel and
cook
potatoes in boiling salted water until tender.

Mash fine.

Peel and finely dice onions, carrots and
celery
.

Cook
gently in
butter
until tender.

Combine the
potato
,
onion
, cooked mixed
vegetables
and spices, make spoonfuls into patties, and flatten.

Roll them in
egg
and coat with breadcrumbs.

Heat
oil
in a pan and
cook
patties on both sides until golden
brown
.

Serve with freshly made
tomato sauce
.
