We asked. You responded. In fact, the response was so overwhelming that the judges had a very difficult time narrowing it down to just one winner. After much consideration, we shortlisted the recipes down to the top five submissions, tested them in TigerChef’s very own kitchen, and gave them back to our panel of judges for tasting.

Recipe's Ingredients

Recipe for 3 people
  • 1/2 C chopped, smoked turkey breast
  • 1-1/2 C seedless red grapes
  • 1/2 C dried cherries
  • 11 C greens
  • 2 Bosc pears, thinly sliced
  • 3 T balsamic vinegar
  • 3/4 C pine nuts
  • 2/3 C olive oil, divided
  • 3 T lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • Recipe preparation steps

    Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, whisk 1/2 C olive oil and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Heat 1 T olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey and saute until crispy. Drain on a paper towel. Toss grapes with remaining olive oil on a baking sheet. Roast grapes for 15 minutes, until they shrivel. Remove from the oven and cool.

    Please cherries in a small bowl and soak in hot water about 15 minutes until soft. Drain. Mix greens, pear pieces, whisked olive oil and lemon juice, most of the turkey, grapes and cherries in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

    Divide among 8 plates. Garnish with pear slices, drizzle some balsamic vinegar, sprinkle with pine nuts and remaining turkey. Alternatively, you can serve in a big salad bowl with same garnish.
