Recipe's Ingredients

  • salt and pepper
  • ½ teaspoons dried marjoram
  • ½ teaspoons grated lemon rind
  • 1 onion peeled and chopped
  • 4 to 8 sausages of your choice
  • 500 g potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 500 g celeriac peeled and sliced
  • 80 g gruyere cheese grated
  • 250 ml water
  • 50 ml hot milk
  • Recipe preparation steps

    Place the water in a pan with the seasoning, marjoram and lemon rind bring to the boil. Add the onion, celeriac and the potatoes. Reduce to a low heat and simmer for 20 mins or until the vegetables are tender. Drain the vegetables and blend or press through a sieve.

    Cook the sausages. Stir in the milk and cheese. Beat well until the cheese has melted. Spoon into a warm serving dish. Top with the sausages and serve at once.
