teaspoons cornflour blended with 1 tablespoon of water
1
bay leaf
a clove of garlic
6
medium tomatoes
2
egg yolks
½
teaspoons paprika
2.5 kg
chicken
50 g
seasoned flour/ flour with salt and pepper
250 g
small mushrooms
50 ml
vegetable oil
450 ml
chicken stock
150 ml
double cream
Recipe preparation steps

Coat the
chicken
with the seasoned
flour
.

Heat the
oil
in a large pan and fry the
chicken
until browned.

Stir in the stock, cornflour, bay leaf and
garlic
bring to the boil.

Turn heat down and simmer for 40 mins.

Then stir in the mushrooms and tomatoes simmer for another 20 mins then remove the bay leaf.

Put the
chicken
pieces in a
warm
serving dish.

Mix the
cream
and
egg
yolks together stir in about 4 to 5 tablespoons to the
cooking
liquid.

Then
place
in a
sauce
pan and simmer gently for 3 to 5 mins.

Pour the
sauce
over the
chicken
.

sprinkle with
paprika
and serve at once
