  • 1 egg
  • 8 apples (up to 10)
  • cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoons salt
  • 250 g flour
  • 250 g sugar
  • 180 g melted butter
  • Recipe preparation steps

    Fill an 8 or 9 inch pie plate with peeled sliced apples.

    Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and egg together.

    Place the mixture over the apples.

    Pour the butter over the flour mixture.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon.

    Cook at 177°C for 35 minutes or until apples are soft (Test them with a knife)
