Traditionaly the "anchoiade" is made with a mortar, here I offer you a much simpler adaptation, for the one who wouldn't happen to have one.

cloves garlic, cored and finely chopped
freshly ground pepper
600 g
filets of anchovy in olive oil
150 ml
olive oil
10 ml
vinegar or lemon juice
Recipe preparation steps

Place
the
anchovies
in a
salad
bowl, add the
garlic
then blitz for a
minute
or so. Now, using a wooden spoon or a small whisk, blend in the
olive
oil like you would do for a
mayonnaise
, at the end add in the
vinegar
or the
lemon juice
.

Spread some of it on a thick slice of
French bread
and grill it for 5 minutes. As a snack yummi!..
