  • 2 granny smith apples, peeled, cored, and quartered

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 10 g red cabbage, shredded
  • 200 ml dry white wine
  • 100 ml hot water

    Heat the butter and oil in a large sauce pan. Add the cabbage and sauté for about 10 minutes.

    Add wine, water, and apples. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and cook for about an hour. Stir occasionally. When cooked, season with salt.
