  • 4 egg whites
  • salt
  • 200 g plain flour
  • 200 g icing sugar
  • 150 g unsalted butter + for the tin
  • 100 g finely ground almonds
  • 50 g sliced almonds
  • Recipe preparation steps

    Melt the butter and let it cool down a bit. Meanwhile, in a salad bowl, mix the flour, the sugar, the ground almonds and a pinch salt together.

    Dig a "shaft" and add the egg whites, mix, then add the melted butter. Mix vigorously.

    Butter the tins, and evenly pour the pastry in them, then spread with the sliced almonds. Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 25 minutes.

    Let it cool down 3 minutes and take them out from tins…
