“TARTUFI PONZIO” was established in 1947 in Via Vittorio Emanuele n. 26 and took this name from its founder “commendatore” Roberto Ponzio.
In 1987 the shop was taken over by Maria Teresa Bortolusso and Giuseppe Curti who carried on the job. TARTUFI PONZIO is hosted by small premises. In other words a long corridor with a single showcase on Alba’s main street. Inside you can find high quality products.
Giuseppe Curti knows well truffles. Some time ago he was a truffle hunter and even now he doesn’t wait for the product at home: he goes personally on markets to choose the best truffles.
When the white truffle (Tuber Magnum Pico) season is over, TARTUFI PONZIO carries on the selling of truffle products, dried mushrooms, home-made fresh pasta, typical cheeses, local kinds of salami and a limited but precious local wines’ selection.
