Exmouth Market is essentially a single street in the heart of Clerkenwell located between Holborn and The Angel, Islington. One end lies at the busy crossroads of Rosebery Avenue and the Farringdon Road.
An enclave of independent shops and boutiques, fabulous cafe's and restaurants - this area is very lively during weekdays and is a popular shopping niche for locals, creatives and office workers from the surrounding commercial area.
The busy pedestrianised street makes it easy to browse and this is a great place to come for lunch and a stroll. The market itself is mainly held at the Farringdon Road end of Exmouth Market and comprises of a number of mainly food stalls - the opening hours are officially (from the council website) Monday to Saturday 9.00am - 6.00pm but you find most stalls appear on a Thursday and Friday between 11.00 - 6.00pm.
You can expect to find homemade cakes and brownies, artisan cheeses and breads and a smattering of hot food stalls from various countries.
